Standard mold base is widely used in plastic mold. This kind of mold base is composed of standardized and serialized basic parts in structure, form and size. The mold cavity can be processed by itself according to the shape of the product. The use of standard mold base is conducive to shortening the mold making cycle.

The basic components of plastic mold are as follows:

① Forming parts: including die, punch, all kinds of forming core, which are all parts with inner and outer surface or upper and lower end face, side hole, side concave and thread.

② Supporting and fixing parts: including die base plate, fixing plate, supporting plate, cushion block, etc., to fix the die or supporting pressure.

③ Guide parts: including guide pillar and guide sleeve, used to determine the relative position of the movement of the mold or push out mechanism.

④ Core pulling parts: including inclined pin, sliding block, etc., which are used to pull out the movable core when the mold is opened to demould the product.

⑤ Push out parts: including push rod, push pipe, push block, push plate, push ring, push rod fixed plate, push plate, etc., to demould products.
